Planning a trip back to Penn this summer or fall? Now’s the time to start planning to meet up with your brothers! Philadelphia is teeming with restaurants, bars, shops, and more—places that hold some priceless memories from your time at Beta Pi. Here are five things we recommend you do on your trip back:

1. First and foremost, this is a great opportunity to catch up with your brothers and the actives! You and your family can stop by the chapter house if you plan to be on campus.

2. Coordinate your visit with one of Penn’s home football games, and cheer on the Quakers! View the 2015 football schedule here

3. You can stop by Smokey Joe’s for a quick bite and drink, or head over to South Street, one of the city’s liveliest streets, teeming with over 300 stores and restaurants. You’ll find entertainment, restaurants, and shops that are, no doubt, nostalgic from your days here at Penn. Who knows? Maybe you’ll even find a new favorite.

4. Stop at Reading Terminal Market with your family or brothers. This is a food-lover’s dream! No matter what your taste is, you’ll find something you enjoy here. There’s every imaginable cuisine here, and you can also pick up everything from locally grown and exotic produce to fresh baked goods and Amish specialties.

5. Head over to Penn Park, adjacent to the Schuylkill River. Make use of the softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, and open grassy areas. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a picnic!

We hope to see you back at Penn soon! Use the comment box below to tell us about your favorite spots on or near campus that you’ll be revisiting.
