New York City Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Association DinnerDespite weather that can best be described as miserable, on December 10, 2019, the newly formed New York City Pi Kappa Alpha Alumni Association organized a dinner at the Hill Country Market in Manhattan for all PiKA Alumni in the NYC metropolitan area.

A geographically diverse group of approximately 25 Pikes, from chapters across the country and Canada, were able to attend. While enjoying their ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, etc. everyone intermingled at the two long tables set aside for this event. The opportunity to meet and swap stories with fellow Brothers from other chapters was the highlight of the evening. Adam Wassell, representing PiKA International, came up from Washington. Morty Cohen ’65 and Bruce Wolfson ’71 represented Beta Pi.

In addition to the festivities, a raffle was held, for the benefit of St. Jude Children's Hospital, that raised over $300. Prior events included a family excursion to a New York Mets baseball game and a get together at Stout Tavern in NYC. All Beta Pis in the NYC metropolitan area should be on the lookout for further events.
